STEVE ARFFA

Over the past 31 years in Tucson I have been part of two fabulous careers. I moved to Tucson to go to UofA in 1991 on a baseball scholarship with the hopes of my childhood dreams coming true to play professional baseball. This came true when I was drafted by the New York Mets in 1994. I had an amazing but short career, which was cut short by injuries. I moved back to Tucson and the rest is history!

Rick helped my wife and I successfully sell our 3 1/3 acres in Northwest Tucson. After 1+ years of working with another two person team of agents, Rick was able to market the property, find qualified buyers and navigate through closing to consummate the deal. He knows his markets, is available at all times, has good advice and was always professional. We highly recommend him for any of your land/home needs in real estate.

Rick helped us put together the purchase, and was supportive, accessible, and a pleasure to work with at all points. I highly recommend Rick and have already told several of my friends; if you want a lot in the Tucson area, Rick is the person to talk to.

Rick did a wonderful job of marketing several lots for me … I recommended him to several friends and they were equally happy… I also appreciated greatly that a portion of his commissions were donated to Long Realty Cares Foundation, an organization that helps support various community based services here in Tucson.

Getting from there to here...

Over the past 31 years in Tucson I have been part of two fabulous careers. I was a Real Estate Appraiser and partner with Arffa Appraisal for 14 years, which was founded by my dad. He retired and I took over as managing partner after his 41 year career. I soon found myself drawn to getting my real estate license as this is something in my blood. My grandma was the first female realtor in Syracuse, NY.

My extensive experience in single-family residential and commercial appraising provided a strong foundation for my career in real estate sales. Real estate appraising prepared me to help clients analyze current marketing strategies along with analyzing all the markets throughout the Tucson area. Appraising commercial properties and more specifically vacant single family residential lots as well as vacant land subdivisions helped with the transition into being part of The Buy Tucson Lots Team.

So, between appraising and selling real estate it’s been a remarkable and rewarding career in Tucson. I believe the most rewarding aspect of real estate, whether it’s finding a client vacant land or a home, is when we have our initial interaction with a clients wish list and making that come true. This is where my strengths of listening to a clients needs, expertise in the Tucson market comes into play.
