Well I ‘ve been dragged kicking and screaming into 21st century technology and I can’t believe I’m actually starting a Blog which is attached to a website and three social networks; Twitter, Facebook and Linked-In. Where did this stuff come from?  When I  became a Broker and started selling Real Estate in Chicago in 1978, a bunch of us would sit in a room with 30 phones, and call unsuspecting hi-rise condominium owners whose numbers we found in a phonebook size resource guide called a Reverse Directory. We’d ask them if they or anyone else they knew on the planet wanted to buy or sell real estate of any kind.We got a lot of no’s,  very infrequent yes’s, and celebrated mightily together when that happened. It built camaraderie very quickly as well as thickened the skin of those of us that lasted. No fax machines, no multiple listing services only written tear sheets, summarizing properties for sale, that were passed around the office weekly.

Thirty one years later, 24 of which have been spent exclusively representing buyers and sellers of Tucson Land and Lots of all kinds, I figure I must have something of value to say that might be useful or interesting to others. At any rate, what I hope to accomplish with this Blog is to share some insights, blow off some steam, elicit your comments and expertise, point out some pitfalls and generally raise awareness about all issues pertaining to Land. I’d also love to field your land related questions and promise to answer them all personally or in this blog.

So for all you Land lovers, owners, future owners, those that would like NOT to be owners anymore, and anyone else with an interest in Vacant Land in Tucson, I hope you find some value in this. Because, remember, underneath all is land.
